OnlyFans alternatives are subscription platforms where creators sell subscriptions and paid content to fans, the way OnlyFans does. For adult creators, the options compared here are Fansly, Fanvue or LoyalFans. Patreon and Passes suit creators whose content stays non-explicit. The fees sit close together, so what separates the platforms is their content rules and payout terms, plus whether they bring you any audience of their own.
Every figure and rule in this guide comes from the platform's own terms or help pages, checked on 3 October 2026. Platforms change these pages without much notice. Read the current version before you move anything.
In short:
- The three adult platforms compared here (Fansly, Fanvue, LoyalFans) pay creators 80%, the same split as OnlyFans.
- Patreon charges 10% on pages published after August 4, 2025, plus processing. It does not allow sexual activity by real people. Passes does not allow nudity.
- Your subscribers do not move with you. Every fan has to subscribe again on the new platform.
OnlyFans alternatives at a glance
The OnlyFans alternatives in this comparison that allow adult content take the same 20% fee as OnlyFans. The ones with a lower headline fee are the ones that restrict what you can post.
| Platform | Platform fee (what you keep) | Explicit adult content | Payout terms, as the platform states them |
|---|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | 20% (80%) | Allowed | Withdrawal once the balance meets the minimum payout amount |
| Fansly | 20% (80%), chargebacks deducted | Allowed, adults only | $20 minimum for most countries, up to 4 business days to process |
| Fanvue | 20% standard (80%), temporary promotional rates possible | Allowed; AI-generated media allowed with clear disclosure | 7-day pending period (up to 28 days); Fanvue aims to start payouts within 10 business days of a request |
| LoyalFans | 20% of each fan payment (80%) | Allowed | Twice a month, within 7 working days of each period; minimum depends on payout method and country |
| Patreon | 10% for pages published after August 4, 2025, plus payment processing, currency conversion and payout fees | Nudity behind the paywall only; no sexual activity by real or hyperrealistic people | Payout fees on top of the 10%; payouts in 16+ currencies |
| Passes | "As low as 10% + $0.30/txn" on its comparison page; the creator terms state a 20% fee on card sales | Not allowed (PG-13 platform) | Bi-weekly by default under the creator terms |
Two rows need a comment. Passes advertises a lower rate on its marketing pages than its creator terms state, so ask in writing which rate applies to your account before you sign up. Fanvue's standard rate matches OnlyFans; its earnings policy allows temporary promotional rates, for example for newly onboarded creators, and Fanvue can change or end them at its discretion.
Why creators look for sites like OnlyFans
Creators who compare sites like OnlyFans usually have one of three reasons: a lower fee, an audience the platform supplies, or a second income stream in case something happens to the main account.
The fee is the easiest reason to check, and on adult platforms it barely differs. The three adult platforms in the table all pay creators the same 80% that OnlyFans does. If the fee is your only reason to move, the table above already answers the question. What the 20% covers and what else reduces what you keep is in what the OnlyFans percentage cut really costs you.
Discovery is the stronger reason. OnlyFans is built around pages fans already know about, so nearly every new subscriber arrives through a link you placed somewhere else. A platform that recommends your posts to its own users changes that equation, at least for a new account. We have compared the outside channels in where to promote your OnlyFans.
Risk is the third reason. One account means one point of failure. A restriction, a payout hold or a dispute with the platform stops your income until it is solved. A second platform does not remove that risk, but the business no longer stands on a single login.
The OnlyFans competitors, one by one
The main OnlyFans competitors differ less in price than in who they are built for. Here is what each one's own pages say.
Fansly
Fansly is the closest match to OnlyFans: the same split and the same openness to adult content, plus a built-in discovery feed. Under the Fansly Terms of Service, last updated on 21 July 2026, creators earn 80% of the revenue from subscriptions, sales or tips. Fansly may deduct money from chargebacks and from content that breaks its terms.
The structural difference is the For You page. Fansly's help center describes it as the platform's built-in discovery system, which recommends posts to fans based on their activity and interests. Creators opt individual posts into it, and a post with locked media needs a free preview to appear there. For an account without an outside audience, this is the main difference from OnlyFans. It also means extra production work, because every post meant for the feed needs a preview that shows enough without giving the paid content away.
Fanvue
Fanvue's standard split is identical to OnlyFans, and its payout rules are set out in one policy. The Fanvue earnings and payouts policy sets the standard creator rate at 80% of gross revenue. Earnings sit in a pending period of seven days that can stretch to 28 days depending on verification and account activity, and Fanvue aims to start payouts within ten business days of a request. Above a set chargeback rate, it can charge an administrative fee for each additional dispute.
Fanvue's community guidelines allow adult content and AI-generated media. AI content must carry a clear disclosure, such as a watermark or a statement in the bio, and must not impersonate a real person other than the account owner. If you run or plan an AI persona, Fanvue's guidelines give AI-generated media a written section of their own.
LoyalFans
LoyalFans works much like OnlyFans with a different payout rhythm. Its terms of service set the platform fee at 20% of each fan payment, so creators keep 80%. It pays twice a month, within seven working days after the 15th and after the end of the month, and a balance is paid out automatically once it reaches the minimum for your payout method. The site is an adult platform behind an age gate.
LoyalFans suits adult creators who want the OnlyFans split with a fixed payout calendar instead of withdrawals on request. As with every platform here, ask what share of its fans actually find new creators on the site before you count on discovery.
Patreon
Patreon allows adult works behind a paywall, but it draws a line that adult creators reach quickly. The Patreon community guidelines permit sexual and suggestive themes for paying members who have attested they are over 18. Nudity has to stay behind the paywall, and Patreon states that it is not a place for sexual activity by or between real or hyperrealistic subjects. The same guidelines prohibit leading people from Patreon to third-party sites, apart from the exceptions Patreon lists.
Patreon fits artists and writers, and creators who sell behind-the-scenes access or adult themes without sexual activity. The full head-to-head of the two platforms is in OnlyFans vs Patreon.
Passes
Passes is built for creators who bring an existing fanbase with them, and it does not allow explicit content. The Passes community guidelines describe Passes as a PG-13 platform that hosts minors. They prohibit nudity and pornography and forbid funneling fans to adult platforms such as OnlyFans or Fansly from posts or messages. A link aggregator in the bio is the only place such a link may sit.
That rules Passes out as a funnel for an adult page. It can work for an influencer who sells non-explicit memberships, messages or digital products to a large social audience.
The rest of the list
JustForFans, ManyVids, Ko-fi and Gumroad show up in most lists of OnlyFans alternatives. They either serve a narrower audience or follow a different model, such as a clip store, tips or one-off digital products. Checking them is the same exercise as above:
- What fee does the platform take, and on which amount?
- What content does it allow, in its own words?
- How and when does it pay out, and what is the minimum?
- Who carries refunds and chargebacks?
Do lower fees mean more income?
Lower fees only raise your income on platforms that allow your content. On $10,000 of fan spending, the cheapest headline fee among these OnlyFans alternatives leaves up to $1,000 more with you than the standard 20%, before processing fees, and both platforms that offer it restrict adult content.
| Platform | Fee at the stated rate | What reaches you before processing and payout fees |
|---|---|---|
| OnlyFans | $2,000 | $8,000 |
| Fansly | $2,000 | $8,000 |
| Fanvue (standard rate) | $2,000 | $8,000 |
| LoyalFans | $2,000 | $8,000 |
| Patreon (standard plan) | $1,000 plus processing and payout fees | Less than $9,000 |
| Passes (advertised rate) | $1,000 plus $0.30 per transaction | Less than $9,000 |
| Passes (creator terms, card sales) | $2,000 | $8,000 |
For an adult creator, the fee is effectively the same on every platform that allows the content, and the difference in income comes from how many fans pay and how much each one spends. Patreon's card processing narrows its lead further; the OnlyFans vs Patreon comparison linked above works through the same $10,000 with processing included.
For cash flow, payout timing can matter as much as the fee. Pending periods and minimums decide when the money is usable, together with the days a transfer takes. How this works on OnlyFans, step by step, is in how OnlyFans pays creators.
Which is the best OnlyFans alternative for you?
The best OnlyFans alternative depends on what you post and where your fans come from. Start with the content rules, because they decide which platforms are possible at all, and then look at discovery and payouts.
| Your situation | Platform to look at first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Adult content, no outside audience yet | Fansly | The For You page recommends posts to fans who do not know you |
| Adult content, you want a second page next to OnlyFans | Fansly or LoyalFans | Same 80% split, adult content allowed |
| AI persona | Fanvue | Written rules for disclosed AI-generated media |
| Non-explicit content, large social following | Passes | PG-13 audience, lower advertised fee |
| Art, writing, behind-the-scenes, adult themes without sexual activity | Patreon | Membership tiers, 10% fee plus processing |
| An OnlyFans page that already earns well | Stay, and consider a second page | Moving resets your paying fan base |
Should you run OnlyFans and a second platform?
A second platform makes sense when it brings you fans you would not reach otherwise, and it costs more time than most creators expect.
What a second platform gives you
For an established page, OnlyFans alternatives work best as an addition to the main account. The clearest gain is reach. Fansly's discovery feed can bring in fans who would never have found your OnlyFans link. The second gain is resilience: if one account is restricted or a payout is held, the other keeps paying. Some creators also use a second page to test a different price point or a different content mix without touching the main account.
What it costs you
Most of the money on subscription platforms comes from conversations. A second page doubles the inbox, and an inbox that gets slow answers earns less on both platforms. Content has to be split or duplicated. A fan who follows you on both will compare what each page offers, so your pricing needs a reason to differ. You also manage two payout schedules and two sets of records for your taxes.
Check the rules before you cross-promote. Passes forbids funneling fans to adult platforms, and Patreon restricts leading people off its site. If an agency runs your account, ask how it would staff a second inbox before you open one. Our guide to OnlyFans management agencies covers what to ask about team size.
What happens to your fans if you leave OnlyFans
Your subscribers do not move with you. A subscription lives on the platform where the fan paid for it, so every fan who follows you has to sign up again, add a payment method again and choose to pay you again.
The history stays behind too. Message threads are tied to the old account, and so are the purchase records and everything you know about who spends what. Your content is different: on OnlyFans it stays 100% yours, so you can take it with you. Uploading the whole archive to a new paid page right away gives new fans less reason to buy anything later.
Before you switch to one of the OnlyFans alternatives completely, decide what the new page offers that the old one did not. If you do move, run both pages for a transition period and announce the change on your own social channels. Read each platform's terms on promoting other sites before you message fans about it. Plan for the possibility that only part of your paying base follows you.
How MAXMO looks at a second platform
MAXMO Management manages OnlyFans and Fansly accounts. Our focus is creators whose page is already running; in individual cases we also support the start. When a creator asks about adding a second platform, we look at her OnlyFans inbox first. PPV and chatting bring roughly ten times the revenue of subscriptions across our roster, so an inbox that is not fully worked usually costs more than a missing platform. Our chatters answer the fans around the clock.
We run the business side of the account for eight creators with a team of 21 specialists. Your logins and payout details stay with you, the content rights stay 100% with you and you see every number on a monthly statement. You can read how the five areas we cover fit together, look at three creators' results, find short answers in the FAQ on our homepage, or tell us where you stand and get an honest assessment within 48 hours.
